Injuries left me feeling...

Frustrated and Depressed

I consistently put in effort to get better; but with any success, new setbacks seemed to quickly follow.

Loss of Identity

As a former college athlete with an active lifestyle, I wasn't able to do the things I loved anymore.

Stuck on the Sidelines

I felt like life was passing me by, frequently turning down activities due to pain or limitations.

I tried just about everything to get better. I tried physical therapy, strength training, massage, TENs units, dry needling, acupuncture, chiropractors, rest, ice, cortisone shots, etc.

I've consistently found strength training to be the MOST effective solution for my injuries. The human body is incredible and can adapt to pretty much any stimulus we give it. The challenging part with injuries is finding the right stimulus.

This is a classic Goldilocks situation. Too much and you will keep exceeding the current capacity of your body, too little and your body will never get the message to improve the function of the injured tissue.

Kinstretch is key

This is a strength training modality that focuses on the joints and connective tissue that are often overlooked with traditional strength training.

We believe that Kinstretch is something everyone need to be using in their fitness routines. This is not just about injury rehab/prevention. It's also about optimizing your joint functions so you perform even better at all the things you already love doing!
